About

Hello! My name is Collin, and I love music.

My journey with recorded music began when I was sixteen years old. I had just received a brand new Shure SM57 microphone for Christmas, and I excitedly connected it to what was essentially a headphone amplifier and began dumping sound into my computer. I recorded my first dozen songs with this simple setup, and to be honest, they were pretty terrible.

Fast forward to today, I live in Dallas with my wife, Lindsay, and our two cats. I write, record, mix, and master from a home studio that I have been building out and improving upon over the last decade. I have had the pleasure of working with many different artists over the years as well as the freedom to continue working on my own music. A lot has changed since that pivotal Christmas morning, but I still have that same SM57 and excitement to create from when I was sixteen.

Creating music is a very personal process. The jump from playing guitar in the mirror to sharing an album full of intimate thoughts and moments can be intimidating, and navigating that process for the first time can be particularly difficult. On top of that, having to pay hundreds of dollars per hour to be uncertain in a professional recording studio is honestly impractical.

That’s where I want to help.

I believe that time and budget should not define your ability to create, which is why I offer many different levels of service for every project.  Whether it be full-on recording at my studio or consulting on which equipment to buy, I can get you going in the right direction. As long as you have passion, I can help you turn it into recorded music.
